Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. The service
Poof lets you send files, photos, videos and text between your own devices. The free version is free. Poof Premium adds extra features. By using Poof you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Using Poof fairly
You are responsible for what you send. Do not use Poof to:
- share content that is illegal or that you have no right to share;
- send malware or harm other people's devices;
- overload, attack or try to break into our servers.
We may block devices that do. Files are limited to 500 MB each and are deleted from our server once delivered, or after one hour.
3. Poof Premium
- Plans: €3.99 per month, €29.99 per year, or €69 once for lifetime access. Prices include VAT.
- Where you buy: on iPhone and Mac through the App Store (Apple's terms apply); on Windows, Android and the web through Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, whose buyer terms also apply.
- Renewal: monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your receipt email or at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: not happy? Ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase by writing to us.
- Your license key works on up to 5 devices at a time. You can free a device from Poof's settings. Do not share your key with other people.
- Launch offer: while Poof launches, Premium may be offered for free on some platforms. We will tell you in the app before this ends; nothing is charged without a purchase.
4. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Poof reliable and secure, but it is provided “as is”: transfers can fail and the service can be interrupted. Keep your own copy of important files. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
5. Changes
We may change Poof and these terms. If a change matters to you, we will announce it in the app before it applies. If you keep using Poof afterwards, the new terms apply.
6. Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
